The Freshman
"Never has an article made me blink with astonishment as much as when I read in yesterday's New York Times magazine that Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi, former ambassador-at-large for the Taliban, is now studying at Yale on a U.S. student visa. This is taking the obsession that U.S. universities have with promoting diversity a bit too far. "

If there's any doubt left in anybody's mind over how blatantly anti-american college institutions have been for decades, it should be completely erased.
Hardcore left wing professors are
being exposed on a regular basis by people like Bill O'Reilly and I'm sure that since he's such a, "big fan" of the Times, he will go in depth about this as well.
Fringe left wing liberalism has been like a cancer eating away at our institutions on every level and it needs to be stopped. The fact that a terrorist can obtain a student visa and be welcomed onto a college campus is a slap in the face to every American Soldier who is fighting and have lost their lives fighting the war on terror to prevent another 9/11 from happening. I really hope this is the straw that breaks the camel's back.
I have no doubt that he is an interesting and very intelligent young man as he seems to be doing well at Yale with a fourth grade education.
What is startling is that you get the impression from the article that Yale *competed* for him and consider his matriculation to be a coup for them.
It would have been too much to ask for Yale to find an interesting and intelligent young man or woman from that rather large set of people whom the Taliban oppressed and terrorized.
I really think that some major spending cuts for our universities should be in order. If our colleges and universities want to give aid and comfort to terrorists then they should be treated no better than Iran, Syria or Hamas. This is treason pure and simple and needs to be punished.
Remember he got past Immigration. Homeland "Security." HA!
Unfortunately there will be another 9/11 and we will have invited them in!
