Corzine's Bold Ambitions and Rough Edges - I
But in a state where the previous governor, James E. McGreevey, resigned amid a sex scandal, the incident has set off speculation about his personal life.Hmm, wonder what the NYT is hinting about? We already know about the Carla Katz scandal, what else might come out in the future? Obviously, the speculation about Corzine has gone beyond this and other blogs. We might remind everyone, McGreevey’s sex scandal was the tip of the iceberg. Remember code word “Machiavelli" McGreevey used as part of a political payoff scheme?
Update: The Inside Edge: "Speculation among political insiders that there was something out there that could hurt Corzine's chances has not materialized." Yes, we did notice it hasn't materialized. Tick, Tock.

Wait a moment. Is that the NYT is about to unleash a whisper campaign? Don't say that we weren't warned.
I surely hope he loses because I find his conduct in the Senate to be detestable and his pandering to the unions to be highly questionable, but when all's said and done, I think Corzine will eke out a win.
Joanne Corzine isn’t whispering, she’s speaking loud and clear – she spills the beans on Jon Corzine’s willingness to making endorsement deals with controversial Democratic leaders like George E. Norcross III of Camden County and Stephen N. Adubato Sr. of Newark, and several politically influential black ministers. Joanne Corzine: “He'll probably let New Jersey down, too”
I honestly can't believe how low you are sinking and how quickly. You wonder what the NYT is talking about? Read the preceeding paragraph. It's about the stupidty surrounding Ms. Katz.
But you knew that. You aren't stupid. You shouldn't keep acting that way.
