Remove New Jersey Attorney General Zulima Farber From Office

New Jersey Attorney General Zulima Farber participated in an illegal immigrant protest rally in Newark’s Lincoln Park yesterday afternoon. Addressing the crowd in Spanish and in English she said:

All people have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, to live in safe, clean and affordable housing and to walk down the street without being afraid, Farber said. "I understand your struggle and the challenge of being an immigrant," she said.

Farber said she decided to attend the rally, which has been organized by a coalition of grass-roots immigrant organizations, to make clear her view that undocumented immigrants should have an opportunity to legalize their status, and that they should not be treated as criminals.
Farber, as Jersey’s top law enforcement officer, is supposed to enforce the law and protect citizens and legal residents from law breakers. Clearly the Attorney General does not understand the struggle and the challenge of being a taxpayer in New Jersey, preferring to aid and abet illegal behavior than to prosecute it. New Jersey’s 300,000+ illegal aliens cost state taxpayers a minimum of $300 million to $400 million per year for public services. Taxpayers have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Instead, we are treated with derision and contempt.

How many laws must an illegal immigrant break before Zulima Farber considers it criminal? Entering and remaining in the country illegally, using forged documents to work, fraudulently receiving government funds, services, and goods, tax evasion and on and on. What a signal to send to the illegal aliens in the U.S. – New Jersey’s Attorney General welcomes you with open arms and a promise of affordable housing.

Zulima Farber is clearly unfit to be the Attorney General for the state of New Jersey and should be removed from office.

First off, Zulima Farber was just as heinous of a pick for Attorney General as Golan Cipel was for Homeland Security Chief. She had no qualifications for this job whatsoever. Any of us who know of her run-ins with the law in the past knew that it was only going to be a matter of time before she stirred up trouble somehow.

She completely fails to represent the people of this state who, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll, favor a barrier to keep illegals out by a 65-27 margin. I guess Farber thinks that Hudson County makes up the entire state of New Jersey. What I would like to see is if she has the guts to try this in Central and South Jersey. I can tell you right now that she won't because all this is is an opportunistic tactic to get the Hudson County Vote out for Bob Menendez.

Furthermore, I am so sick and tired of liberal pols and the media alike giving these lawbreakers legitimacy by calling them, "undocumented immigrants." These people aren't immigrants anymore than tax hikes are, "revenue raisers." These people are ALIENS!! ILLEGAL ALIENS!!! They are breaking the law!

This great nation is a nation that was built on the backs of a long line of immigrants including my great-great grandmother who came here from Italy to build a better life for her and future generations of her family. She worked very hard for many years to become a Proud American Citizen who embraced American Culture. The fact that liberal hack politicians like Bob Menendez, Albio Sires , Joe Vas and Zulima Farber can lump illegal aliens who have NO respect for the rule of law into the same category as my great-great grandmother is the equivalent to spitting on her grave!

An Attorney General who admits openly that she would deliberately disobey the laws of the land is an absolute travisty and a disgrace to the State of New Jersey and The United States of America! What's next Governor Corzine? Keith Richards for Drug Czar?

Excellent piece- I suggest that you send it to The Trenton Times Letters to the editor, if you haven't already done so. This paper is probably read by more Pols in Trenton than any other.
