Well, well, well, I guess the MSM has it all wrong... I'm not a "right-winger" , I too am a Secular Centrist.
What a joke this test is! With the intent of measuring "where your political beliefs fit with college students across the country," it's bound to come up with screwy results. The base population for comparison is skewed significantly left -- 43% traditional liberal vs. 14% traditional conservative.
I answered honestly the first time through, and was told I was secular center. Then I ran through with some extreme answer testing to see what happened:
All 1s (strongly disagreeing with each statement): secular centrist
All 2s (somewhat disagreeing with each statement): secular centrist
All 3s (neither agreeing nor disagreeing) traditional conservative
All 4s (somewhat agreeing with each statement): religious centrist
All 5s (strongly agreeing) religious centrist
Then, I went through it taking the opposite of my true beliefs, and the answer came back as traditional liberal. Guess that tells me where I really fall on this scale.
