From Alexander McClure at

Robert Novak writes that Republicans are optimistic that Democratic seats in Maryland and New Jersey are ripe for the taking.
The likely Republican candidate in Maryland, Michael Steele, is an African-American and the Lieutenant Governor. The likely Republican nominee in New Jersey, Thomas Kean Jr., is a state Senator and son of the wildly popular former Governor.
Meanwhile the number of vulnerable Republican seats in 2006 has dwindled to one - Pennsylvania.
We hope this means after Jon Corzine loses the govenor's race in New Jersey he'll retire from "public service".

Which should be an easy transition for him, as he can simply continue doing nothing for New Jersey.
