When Did White Men Become A Minority In New Jersey?
To consider someone a minority because their ancestors once spoke one European language as opposed to another is ridiculous. There are probably fewer New Jerseyans with French ancestry than Spanish and it’s doubtful anyone would consider a white person with a French last name a minority.

You are correct, he is American born and raised of parents with Cuban decent. I have a good friend from the same area who is of exactly the same background, always considers himself an American of Cuban decent.
It all has to do with the surname which is interesting, due to mixups at Ellis Island, I have a spanish surname and I have always received information regarding "minority" programs I was/would be eligable for. Too bad my parents didn't take advantage of it when I went to college, hell, they could have avoided paying back my private college student loans
The ironic thing is that Bob Menendez's parents got everything that millions of illegal aliens want today.
All they had to do is step foot on dry American soil and they were granted amnesty and citizenship.
If anything, New Jersey's Mexican and Central American voters should be adamantly offended by an American born US Senator of Cuban Decent posing as a sympathiser of their cause when he has NO comprehension of what illegals go through to get here.
Just because he pulled the wool over the eyes of his blind Hudson County voting base as a Congressman for the last 14 years doesn't mean that everybody else throughout the state will buy into his self-indulgent tripe.
I totally match with everything you've written.
