This Day In History
This painting depicts one of the most important American victories in the Revolutionary War and in all of American History. And it happened right here in New Jersey. A Large Regular helps keep the memory alive.

I just finished reading 1776 by David McCullough. The book begins in October 1775 with King George decreeing that Great Britan has had it with those ragtag rebels and Parliament's vote to put a swift end to the American uprising. It then tracks George Washington through the battle of Trenton and a week or so later to the Battle of Princeton.
Great stuff. Washington's soldiers marched from New York to the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware river in the winter, and many did it with no jackets or shoes.
It's a great read.
